Legion Wants An End to Military Sexual Assault

On May 9, The American Legion’s governing body approved a resolution that urges the U.S. Armed Forces to enact a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual assault in the military. This resolution has come during the week when the Pentagon announced that sexual assaults are occurring at a rate of more than 70 per day.
