The sacrifices of our military personnel are great but their children's shouldn't be. The American Legion Auxiliary has identified a tremendous need to create an endowment fund to ensure that "Children of Warriors" have a more level playing field in higher educational opportunities. The campaign goal for the National President's Scholarship is $1.2 million and will impact the lives of deserving children every year and strengthen our military families.
To donate to the “Educating Children of Warriors” campaign and provide educational opportunities to military children who face frequent moves, school transitions, isolation, long-distance parenting, and the stress of knowing Mom or Dad is in harm’s way, logon to the Auxiliary’s National Web site and donate today to the National President’s Scholarship: www.legion-aux.org/donate.
If you would like to mail a check into the national office, please make checks payable to: National Treasurer and specify "Children of Warriors" in the memo line. These can be mailed to:
Development Office American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters 8945 N. Meridian Street Indianapolis IN 46260
If you need more information regarding the National President’s Scholarship campaign, contact the Development Department (317) 569-4500. If you are a student interested in applying for the scholarship, logon to: www.legion-aux.org/Scholarships/NationalPresident/index.aspx
